In various parts of the UK, I guess today marks the start of winter proper, with the arrival of snowfall. Apparently its quite deep in places.

I say 'apparently', because I haven't got any snow. I feel that I've been cheated a little, since I've had to live with the cold much like everyone else (although I suppose you'd be right in saying that further north it's been colder), and I want my snow. Although, when the snow does eventually arrive, I'd be grateful if it could wait until at least tomorrow afternoon, since I'm working outside in the morning.




I've recently discovered an old Pentax MEF SLR camera, which would be providing you with some wonderful autumnal shots, but it doesn't work. Or rather, it does, but the mirror doesn't spring back down after you take a shot, so you can only take one photo at a time and have to take the lens off in between. This isn't particularly convenient, so you'll have to wait till I've fixed it for some shots from that.

In the meantime, I'll have a hunt through my collection tomorrow to see if there's anything I want to submit since I realise I've been very quiet indeed recently.
